Breastfeeding Room Description Memphis International Airport now offer military moms and all traveling nursing moms a dedicated nursing mothers room and militry family lounge separate from their family bathrooms. The nursing room features comfortable seats, soft lighting and a power outlet/charging station for electronic devices or pumps. The nursing room is open to ALL TRAVELING MOTHERS, not just military. The festively-decorated lounge will be staffed during the holidays by Delta Air Lines personnel and other airport staff, including volunteers from TSA and the airport's Blue Suede Service. It will offer holiday snacks, newspapers and magazines donated by Delta and airport concessionaires and volunteers. The lounge is equipped with comfortable chairs, a couch, a flat screen TV, power plugs, and a charging station for electronic devices. Other Less Convenient options (If nursing lounge is occupied or has long waiting line) Currently nursing moms use the family restrooms which include one or two spacious areas with chairs that can be used for sitting while nursing. One mom wrote: “The bathroom near the American Airlines ticketing counter in the Memphis airport has a large lounge area with a couple of chairs that would be a good place to nurse before hopping on a plane.” Another mom wrote: “The Memphis Airport has several restrooms with an extra room for moms. It’s not as nice as Nordstrom, but they have changing tables and seating for nursing.” We don't know of any additional amenities as this is not a dedicted mothers lounge. Of course you can find a comfy quiet spot outside a restroom legally nurse your baby in public. If you need to pump however, check the family restroom areas below for a spot to nurse until a dedicated room is created. 1. B Ticket Lobby, East Side (across from Back Yard Burger) 2.
