Breastfeeding Room Description Children’s Museum in Oak Lawn, Illinois is a very trafficked place with many nursing mothers passing through. As such the museum has designated certain spaces as nursing areas where moms can take a break to express breastmilk for their infants. The museum also encourage moms to nurse throughout the building as it respect their legal right to do so in Illinois. Mom Hahety J. wrote: "They have designated areas throughout the museum for nursing mothers which was a bonus for me considering that I only stopped nursing a little under a year ago. It can tend to get hectic (we're talking tons of toddlers here), so I wouldn't recommend letting your little one out of your sight for long if ever." One mom stated: "it’s small enough to not lose your toddler and there are plenty of benches to sit on and nurse." Another mom stated: "Both family bathrooms have a chair if you’re looking for a private place to breastfeed, although it’s not very comfortable. There are also tables and chairs on the second floor near the grocery store exhibit." | ||
