We are a supplemental nutrition program for women, infants and children under the age of 5. We provide breastfeeding support along with other nutritional information and benefits. We have 2 clinics in Amarillo along with 4 additional clinics in the surrounding cities of Canyon, Panhandle, Groom, and Vega. Our main office is located at 411 S. Austin St. with the clinic hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-5:30 pm and the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month 8:30 am-3:45 pm. Our secondary clinic is located at 1500 NE 24th St., and it is attached to the North Branch Library with the hours being Tuesdays 8:30 am-5:30 pm, the first Thursday of every month 8:30 am-5:30 pm, and the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month 8:30 am-3:45 pm. The Canyon office is located at 1818 4th Ave. on the 2nd floor of the Methodist Church with the hours of the 2nd Thursday of each month 8:30 am-5:30 pm. The Vega office is located at 305 Coke St. with hours of 9:30 am-12:00 pm on the 1st Monday of each month. The Panhandle office is located at 500 Main St. with the hours of 1:45 pm-2:45 pm on the 1st Monday of each month. The Groom clinic is located at 200 Broadway St. in the Groom Community Center with the hours of 4:45 pm-5:30 pm on the 1st Monday of each month. A woman has the right to breastfeed in public places, where ever she is allowed to be with without harassment or discrimination. This includes using a breast pump or expressing milk by hand.
