Breastfeeding Room Description Grapevine Mills Mall in Texas has a nursing area for mothers near the food court in the women's restroom area. However many moms have reported that nursing here is not the best experience because it's a bathroom nursing room rather than a separate room with no toilet. These are some of the most recent statements from moms who've used it. Mom Sarah F from Irving TX wrote in 2012: "There is a family restroom and nursing area off of the food court, but there is almost always urine all over the toilets and floors and the whole area often smells bad. I take my child into the larger ladies' room nearby. The nursing area has some old couches that could stand to be replaced. I've seen much better at other malls. " Mom Teela wrote in 2014: "I hate that mall. Lack of traditional department stores means that the only other nursing room is in an after thought in the food court bathroom; it feels like nursing in a bathroom stall. That mall is so packed on weekends that benches are usually never vacant. I've sat on the floor with my back against a store front before just so I didn't have to walk and nurse." Blogger and Mom Tammy Litke reported a much nicer experience however in November 2013. She wrote: "Grapevine Mills just renovated their family restrooms that are located by the Chili’s restaurant in the mall...Plus a beautiful nursing room for mom and baby to relax when needed." | ||
