LaGuardia Airport NYC Lactation Rooms

LaGuardia Airport (LGA) has seven lactation spaces for traveling breastfeeding and breast pumping moms (one dedicated and spacious Nursing Room and six Mamava nursing pods) across their four terminals.

The main lactation room is located in Terminal B near Gate 47 - After Security. Baggage / Gates - Level 2.

The nursing pods and suites are located below:

1. TA - Nursing Pod - Near TSA Office, past TSA Check Point
2. TB - Nursing Suite - Concessions Level 4 West
3. TB - Nursing Suite - Level 2
4. TC - Nursing Pod - To the left of TSA Check Point
5. TC - Nursing Suite - Arrivals Level 1
6. TC - Nursing Suite - Check in Departures Level 2
7. TC - Nursing Suite - Gates 60-69
8. TC - Nursing Suite - Gates 70-79
9. T8 - Nursing Suite - Walkway to Gate 80-89

The Mamava pods/suites are equipped with two benches and an electrical outlet. Their doors fully shut, and the rooms are large enough to fit a family of four plus luggage.

• Mamava pods are private and secure with roomy benches, spaces for a stoller, and a place to plug in your breast pump.

• The smart lock ensures pods are secure for nursing moms. Turn on your phone's to connect.


• Plan ahead. Find the best pods and spaces before you arrive at the airport.

State of New York breastfeeding law allow nursing mothers to breastfeed openly in public places.

NOTE:
Friendly Airports for Mothers (FAM) Improvement Act requires Large, Medium, and Small hub airports to maintain a lactation area for nursing mothers and a baby changing table in at least one men’s and one women’s restroom in each passenger terminal building. Large/Medium hub airports must comply by FY2021. Small hub airports must comply by FY2023.
