Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) provided a breastfeeding station for mothers flying through with their infants. Moms can now access the Mamava lactation suite and breastfeed or breast pump in comfort and privacy.
The 4-foot by 8-foot mobile nursing pod has comfortable benches, a fold-down table, an electrical outlet for plugging in a breast pump, and a door that can be locked for privacy. Moms must download the mamava app to access the pod with an unlock code.
LOCATION: The breastfeeding station is located next to the escalators on the second floor of the concourse – past security.
