We at Moms Pump Here know how important caring for our skin is. From sun protection to spot correction, what does a mom need to know about dermatology while pregnant or breastfeeding? We reached out to Dr. Jennifer Lincoln (who is also International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) with some key questions we hear from moms. Check out the great information she shared with us.
...We have written several times on the topic of paid family leave, not only for new parents but also for workers who need to care for older relatives, family members going through health concerns, and for people who need to handle situations when someone is called to active military service. This week, New York’s Governor Andrew Cuomo is making national headlines for successfully including an employee-funded paid family leave plan for millions of New York workers.

...When a woman finds out she’s pregnant, she receives an overload of information on what is no longer allowed because consuming some products during pregnancy can be harmful to the developing fetus. ...“…I like to remind myself that my track record for getting through bad days so far is 100%.” A friend of mine shared this quote about doing something she dreads but how she always feel better after she’s finished the bad day because she has gotten through it. I was recently using the same quote to go through some things of my own and I can certainly relate and I know other moms who can see pieces of their bad days in here, too.
