Myrtle Beach International Airport DOES NOT yet have a dedicated nursing mothers room.
This airport completed renovations in April 2015 but none of that included a space for traveling nursing mothers to breastfeed or breast pump for their infants.
On Septeber 9, 2017, Mom Lauren Maxham Gibeault said on Facebook:
"This airport has no space dedicated to nursing and pumping mothers. I was told by airport staff that I could use the family restroom. The family restroom was horribly disgusting and had trash all over the floor. Mothers should have a safe space to pump milk for their babies- it's 2017 this is unacceptable. Made my trip far more difficult."
State of South Carolina legally allow moms to breastfeed in public, so you're allowed to nurse where you feel comfortable, but if you need to express milk with a breastpump you'll need to contact the information desk or ask a knowledgable staff for help finding a more private room to express milk.
