Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom provides a very nice and spacious area to accommodate nursing mothers away from the crowds and the heat of the park. This area is called the "Family Care Center" located in the heart of Planet Snoopy. It is fully equipped for moms to express milk and care for their babies. You will find diaper changing stations, private nursing rooms, feeding high chairs, refrigeration for storage of milk, microwave ovens for bottle warming, and a children’s play area. For moms who are not near the designated nursing rooms but closer to the First Aid station by the park entrance, Dorney Park also recommend using that room to express breast milk when needed. Mom Jessica M wrote: "When we went to Dorney Park in Pennsylvania they have a family center where you can nurse, either in the main area or behind a curtain for the people who want more privacy, make and heat up bottles, change etc. It was awesome. I still ended up nursing all over the park too because it was a long walk from some areas but if I was nearby I went there not so I wouldn't offend people (and boy did I get some looks and people pointing and talking under their breath to eachother) even with a cover but because it had comfy chairs and a/c! I met some really nice people there too." |
