It is now JUNE 18 and there is still a lot of summer left for many of us. Summer activities can get expensive so let’s talk about having a fun summer while being on a budget!! I recently did a post on my personal facebook page asking moms what fun CHEAP things they did or are going to do this summer with their children and here are a few tips:
Introduction of solid food to your infant or toddler can be a stressful time in any parent’s life. A child that had been exclusively breast or bottle fed up until that point may not understand the new source of nutrition as it is not innate and toddlers who may have been exposed to sweeter foods may find the vegetables not to their liking. However, there are a few surefire ways to get your child on the right track and save you a ton of headaches!
In Australia - The Sex Discrimination Act 1984 (SDA) makes it unlawful to discriminate against a person because of their sex, gender identity, intersex status, sexual orientation, marital or relationship status, family responsibilities, because they are pregnant or might become pregnant or because they are breastfeeding.
A woman has the right to breastfeed in public places, where ever she is allowed to be with without harassment or discrimination. This includes using a breast pump or expressing milk by hand.
