I've been there so many times and could not be more thrilled about the launch of a new App, goBaby, a mobile peer-to-peer marketplace for baby gear rentals! It was created by another woman in tech, Natalie Kaminski, who just like every mom on the go had the same issues with baby gear.
"Traveling with kids is fun, but also stressful, and carrying a lot of luggage does not make it any easier," says Natalie Kaminski, the founder of goBaby. "We want family vacations to be as joyful and worry-free as possible, but we don't want parents to compromise their children's comfort and safety by not having the necessary equipment with them when they travel. goBaby connects traveling families with locals who are willing to lend their baby equipment. This way local families get to monetize on items they already own, while travelers get to travel light and worry-free."
In addition to serving the traveling families, goBaby provides parents an opportunity to make money on the items they already own. Children grow fast, and baby gear is expensive, so instead of giving it away, selling it, or storing it in the basement, goBaby invites parents to list their no longer used baby items on the mobile marketplace and make some money while helping traveling families feel at home.

In a perfect world we would not have to think twice about why and how we should provide nursing rooms to mom who need to breastfeed or breast pump. In a perfect world it would not be political. Society as a whole would recognize it as an human necessity, like we do bathrooms and not think it's ok to breastfeed or pump in a bathroom to boot.

The birth and postpartum period are a very sacred and delicate time for a mother. When preparing for pregnancy and birth, pregnancy literature and medical healthcare workers tend to focus on the the physical aspect of pregnancy, while the emotional and mental well-being of the mother often takes a backseat. Though it is vital to focus on ensuring physical comfort during pregnancy and birth, as a mother is experiencing a life-changing journey, her emotions and spirit will also need nurture and care as well.

In some cases when a mom has just finished exercising and tries to nurse her baby, the baby may not like the taste of the breast milk. This is because of the lactic acid that has formed during your exercise session. Although the lactic acid is not toxic it seems to occur when moms do a rigorous exercise routine. If your baby does not like th taste of your breast milk light to moderate exercise may help. The increase level can be present up to 90 minutes at post exercise. Some things that you can do to ease your mind if this does occur is:
1.Nurse your baby before you exercise
2.Pump and store your milk so after you exercise you have a supply handy
Two more important tips for out fit moms are:
1. To have a sturdy sports bra to support your breasts because they are precious to your baby. A sturdy bra will also prevent nipple rips!
2. To make sure you shower after you exercise. Any sweat on your breast can leave a salty taste in your baby’s mouth.
Remember moms it all about having fun!!! Getting together with other new moms to have a workout partner is great motivation!
